Who Runs This Site
GearChecked is an independent review site created and run by Mohd Azmi. It started from a simple frustration: too many "best of" lists are thin, sponsored, or generated without anyone actually looking at the products. The goal here is the opposite — clear comparisons that help you decide quickly and confidently.
How We Review
Every review follows the same process:
- Real user reviews. We analyze verified buyer feedback from Amazon, Reddit, and specialist forums to surface the pros and cons that come up repeatedly.
- Spec-by-spec comparison. We line products up against each other on the measurements and features that actually matter, including price-per-feature.
- Honest write-ups.We include the downsides, not just the highlights. If something isn't worth your money, we say so.
How We Stay Independent
